A NEGRO LYNCHED.
« TWO thousand spectators. (I'NITKD VKES3 A SSOCIATION—BT ELKCTRIO TELXOKAPH—COfftBIGHT.) (Received December 6th, 7 p.m.) VANCOUVER, December 5. A negro named Williams killed Daniel Elliott, a prominent business man at Salisbury, < Maryland, on Friday morning,, and was himself wounded and taken to hospital. Later he was taken from the hospital by citizens and lynched in the centro of the town in the presence of 2000 cheering spectators.
