MAGISTERIAL. FRIDAY. (Before Mr E. D. Hosier, S.il.) WOMAN CHARGED. A young woman, aged 21, was charged with being idle and disorderly, in th&t' she had insufficient lawful visible means of support, and with helping at a house of illfame. The charges were adjourned for six months on condition that the accused remains in the care of the Salvation Army for that period. Ail order was made for the suppression of accused's name. \ REMANDS GRANTED. Rudolph Benjamin, a salesman, aged 40, o£ no fixed abode, was remanded until December 10th on a charge that, on April 24th, he converted to his own use a motor-car valued at £sf>, iho property of Kcnnctt, Brown, and Kibblewhite. Bail of £SU, with one surely of £sowas allowed. * Daniel Ferguson, H labourer, aged 49, of no fixed abode, was remanded until December 11th on a charge that on November 25th, at Ricearton, he broke and entered by day the dwelling of Margaret Brockell committed theft therein. William Adolphus Cunningham was remanded until December Bth on two charges—that on November 25th ho stole a bag mid contents valued nt £5, tho property Of Leslie Douglas Mulligan, and that on December Bth he stole a wallet and papers valued at 10s, the property of Leslie Charles Wright. THAFJJJO CASES. The following traffic charges Mere dealt with:—■ Cycling without light: Norman William Bettoridge, Eric Arthur Lilleymau, Raymond ■Tack Richardson, 10s and costs; Augustus Watts, 15s and costs. Betterldge was also fined ss, without costs, for having no reflector. Passing stationary tram: Victor Georgo B. Wilkins, 20s and costs. Parking without lights: Alf Olson, 5s and costs. Negligent driving: Frederick Georgo Russell, 10s and costs; Laurenco AloysiuS Archer, £4 and costs. Car wrongly parked: William Jarden, fined fle without costs, and convicted and discharged on a charge tliitt he allowed too much petrol to drop on tho ground. Unlicensed motor-vehicle: Alexander J. Archibald, Jones Motors, Ltd.. 20s and costs. Dangerous speed: Joseph Black, £8 and costs. •
