BURMA ROUND-TABLE CONFERENCE.
MESSAGE FROM THE KING. (BRITISH OFFICIAL WIBELESO.) (Received December 3rd, 5.5 p.m.) RUGBY, December 2. The Burma Round-Table Conference began at St. James's Palace under the chairmanship of Lord Peel. The King's reply to the loyal message sent by the inaugural «meeting or the conference last week expressing his Majesty's earnest hope that the deliberations on which the delegates were now embarking would be brought to a successful ißsue, was read by tfas There followed a general debate, which will be continued tomorrow. On Monday the Conference will resolve itpelf into committees for the purpose of makinct a detailed examination of the problems.
