Following the custom in England, it has been decided to give an extra concert this year, which will take the form of a carol con-, cert. These concerts are given regularly iu London, and at tho Albert Hall last Decembor. every seat was boohed for two. sessions for a .concert similar to the one which the . Society proposes to givo hero. The committee unanimously decided to givo all 'possible assistance to the movement for sending Hiss Marjorle Alexander to London in order to further her studies. It was agreed to hold extra rehearsals in preparation for the next concerts.

As the women's section of 'tho choir is be-' jcoming too largo, a trial of voices has been ■held with a viow to securing a better balance and efforts aro to be made to'build 'tip tlis tenor and bass sections.
