INVERCARGILL SEAT.
REFORM CANDIDATE. (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) INVERCARGILL, September 4. At a meeting of Reform supporters representing the Awarua electorate, hero this evening, Mr Samuel Ritchie, solicitor, of Invercargill, was selected to contest the electorate at the General Election. Four names were submitted and a ballot held. A resolution was passed expressing continued confidence in Mr Coates, as Leader of the Party and of appreciation of his action in proposing the for* nation of the Special witt*# i* tuttiaa.
