SPRING FAIR.
AVONSIDE PARISH FUNDS. To aid the funds of the AvonsiJe pariah, a spring carnival will be held in. the Caledonian Hall od Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nest. On previous occasions when Avonside Church has held fairs they have been highly successful, both from the financial and spectacular points of view, and although the present undertaking will not be on such a large scale as some of its predecessors it will be fall ol entertainment and value in the goods sold. The fair will be opened on Tuesday by Lady Wigram,. on Wednesday by Mrs Mowbray Tripp, and on Thursday by Miss Tabart. The stalls will include refreshments, odds and ends, work of all kinds, delicates- * sen, sweets, cakes, produce, books, ice-cream, and each evening a grand march will be performed by over 60 girls. Every afternoon a smaller march will take place. The programme will also include "Miokey Mouse' Frolics/' a "Story-book Ball," "Good Bang Arthur," "Afory, Mary, Quite Contrary," the "Toymaker'e Dream," "Jack arid Jill," "Ten Little Nigger Boys," and Topsy end Eva tableaux. Bands will play both in the afternoons and evenings.
