LODGE MEETINGS.

Siater Drury presided over the fortnightly meeting of tho Naomi Rebekah Lodge, I 0.0. F., which wik hold in the supper-room, Rklgley Hall, on Wednesday evening. Sisters were* reminded of the church parade on Septentber 6th, at St. Mary's Churoh, Addington. Eight sisters were reported on the sick. list. Four candidates were proposed for membership. The meeting was then adionrned for a fortnight, owing to the main tiall' being engaged for the instituting a Bobekah District Lodge in North Canterbury and the installation of officers.

The Ridgley Hall was taxed to the "utmost on "Wednesday evening, when the North Canterbury Bebekah District Lodge was instituted. Brother Clark, Timaru. actingGrand Master, assisted by Past-Grand Master Brother Simmons, performed the instituting ceremony, after which the followin* newly:Al>pointed officers were installed : In mediate Post President, Sister Edwards; Ir.dv preeident.
