Special clinics have been established at the four main centres, and each is giving attention to patients living in a wide area. A start has been made in the statistical branch, while radium has been purchased in a form suitable for use according to the latest discoveries. The New Zealand branch of the Empire Cancer Campaign aims at providing research workers with adequate facilities and equipment to undertake a full share of the crusade against cancer. This will result in practical benefit to all sufferers and potential sufferers in New Zealand, and also aid the world-wide movement to bring the disease into subjection. Alert defence against cancer is saving thousands of lives. Complete health examinations, made in time to locate the presence of the enemy, arc the best defence against cancer. This is a problem and a danger that to family can afford to ignore. Everybody can help the crusade by helping in the vital matter of finance. An opportunity is provided by the "Cancer Fund" Art Union, now before the public, the proceeds of which will provide an adequate endowment to enable the aim of the Campaign to be fulfilled in the Dominion,
