SUMNER CONVENT SCHOOL.
A pleasant evening was spent recently at Mrs Burns s tea-rooms, Redcliffs. where a card evening was held in aid of the funds of the Sumner Convent School. The prizes, kindly given by Mr and 11 rs P. Jones, were won by Mesdames Brake, Dawson, and Simpson for most points scored in the flag 500 tournament. ' i Those present included Mesdames F. Truscott, Bral-e, J Beveridge, Dawson, D.
