MEDICAL MEN.
ROYAL COLLEGE OF SURGEONS. (rnoii ouit own correspondent.) LONDON, October SI. At a meeting of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh on October loth, two Now Zealanders were admitted Fellows. Tliev were Reynold Harold Boyd, M.8., Ch.B. University of Zealand, .1924, and Angus Leslie Sutherland, M.8., Ch.B. University of New Zealand, 1924. At the quarterly Comitia of the Royal College of Physicians held yesterdav a number of medical men were admitted members. A successful New Zealamler was A. B. Cook Ch.B. New Zealand, 1927 (Wellington and Hastings). Ho gained his diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (Royal College of Physicians arid Royal College of Surgeons) last August, and his F.R.C.S. Edin. in May. Dr. Lan Eraser (Dunedin) has successfully passed the examination for Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. Dr. W. H. Bremner is doing postgraduate work in- London. He had intended to return to New Zealand in September, but ho postponed his departure until the end of November in order to study further the latest methods of radium treatment of cancer at Mount Vernon Hospital and the Radium Institute, where he has been for the last four months.
