A weatherboard cottage at Coolangatta was burned, from which Mrs Sooley. with her clothes blazing, rushed to a neighbour's house. She was a veritable human torch, every vostiee of her apparel being burned. She arrived at the neighbour's place in her shoes, and died in a few minutes.
