Chevalier is a great artist with a wonderful personality, and it is no wonder that he is such a popular favourite, particularly among the fair sex. In "The Big Pond'* the versatile Chevalier plays a new kind of role, that of a penniless French nobleman who attempts to mix money-making with love-making, and, of course, the latter he doss to perfection He sings a number of new songs in his own irrepressible style; two, in particular, "You Brought a New Kind of Love to Me" and "Living in the Sunlight, Loving in the Moonlight, " are bound to become popular in Christchurch. Chovalfer scores the biggest success of his meteoric career in "The Big Pond." The box plans are now open at The Bristol Piano Company.
