AMERICAN AIRMAN ARRESTED.
CHARGE OF COUNTERFEITING. (UNITED PIIESS ASSOCIATION —I.T ELECTIUC SELEOKAPH —COPY3IQHT.) VIENNA, November 18. The millionaire Transatlantic flyer, Mr Charles Albert Lcvine, was mysteriously arrested while entraining for Venice. It is alleged that Lcvine is connected with a counterfeiting plant, which lie vehemently denies. The police allege that he got into contact with a Viennese engraver concerning the copying of French coins, and the engraver informed police. A MISUNDERSTANDING. TOKENS FOR USE IN CASINO. (Received November 19th, 10.30 p.m.) VIENNA, November 18. The Levine affair is apparently ail extraordinary misunderstanding. Tisa latest explanation is that he was negotiating for the manufacture of a quantity of tokens for use at a casino which he is proposing to establish, in conjunction with a French syndicate. He said he ordered medals to distribute among his friends as presents. One side was to bear Mr Lcvine 'a portrait.
