CHARGES BY JUDGE. SEQUEL TO A WILL CASE. (UNITED PIIESS ASSOCIATION—BT SC.ECT3IC TELKOP.ArU—CorTMOHT.) (Received November 19th, B.SO p.m.) SYDNEY. November 19. Tho New South Wales Medical Hoard of Enquiry exonerated Dr. Chisliolm Ross, a leading Sydney alienist, against whom infamous conduct was alleged. The Board found "that the charges were not proved to its satisfaction, therefore there was no ground for the removal of his name from the medical register.'' [Dr. Ross was charged with being guilty of infamous conduct in a professional respect, in that he made a grossly unreliable report on the ment.<l condition of the late Gerald Murray Clarke Massy. In giving judgment in a will suit in which undue influence was alleged against the testator's widow, Jessie Massy, of Gumlaroo, Mr Justice Davidson scathingly critic'sevi Dr. Ross, whose evidence related to the testator's testamentary capacity. The Judge, emphasising several discrepancies in the doctor's evident, said : ''l can only say that when a ]R*rson sets himself up as a mental specialist and acts as Dr. Chishohn Ross has done in this suit, he is, to my mind, nothing less than n menace to the public, and a disgrace to his profession."]
