Waving a red flag as a protest against the discharge of Fuji cotton employees, a workman has been sitting on the top of a 130t't factory chimney at Kawasaki since early on Sunday, regardless of police endeavours to dislodge him. A stream from a fire hose did not reach him, and attempts at smoking him out proved ineffective.
