PASSENGERS IN CARNIVAL WEEK. DECREASE FROM LAST YEAR. Railway traffic during Carnival Week showed a considerably decrease on the figures for last year, although the number of passengers carried was heavy for tho four rats days, and on the trains which conveyed people from Christchurch during th© weekend.
