On Wednesday, November 26th, at the Caledonian Hall.. a recital \villj>egiven by. Kathleen Garven, Nellie.Hayward, and artists from their 'studios. Miss Garven's beautiful contralto voice will be beafrd in - several- old favourites aB well as new numbers. Schubert's "Ave Maria" will be given as a trio for women's voices accompanying a delightful soprano solo which will bo sung ~by Mrs Lpeming, whose ..ilute-lik<i tones are particularly suited for this wonderful Anelody. Anitra's Dance- (Grieg), .also arranged as a trio, will .be sung by Mesdames Leeming and Bennett and Anite Graham. Trios, duos, for voice and . piano, operatic, arias, part songs, wIM-choseo English, French, and Italian songs will be given " by the artists—:items being culled from choice works by, the following composers:—-Schumann* Schubert, Handel, . Liszt, Gounod, . Poniretti, Verdi, Brahms, Massenet,' Bizet, Ponchielli, Arensky. Saint-Saens, Kreisler, Rabey, Leoncavallo, McDowell, etc. Bernard Barker will be' accompanying several numbers with the violin,, including-, Schubert's :"Ave Maria."
