An arresting paragraph advocating advertising appeared recently m the columns of a British, Weekly • newspaper. This was headed: "Now That Trade Is Not So Good," and . commenced Advertise- more J Statisticshave proved that the firms that h»v© weathered trade depressions best, and that have gained the- greatest proportion of business when the subsequent recovery arrived, have been the firms ,that have steadily maintained their advertising throughout 'the trade depression." The message concluded : .'Keep your advertising going strongly or if you have .not advertised before, do' so now, and the best means is through H® ———■%**
