* ONE MAY BE LAID UP. CCHITBD ra«BS ASSOCIATION —BT BLJICTIUC TXX.XOBAFH —COPTBIOHT.) (Received November 11th, 5.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, November 11. The Seamen's Union having refused to supply a crew for the steamer Mackarra unless the owners reinstate a dismissed fireman and trimmer, the ship, which was ready to sail for Queensland ports, will probably be laid up. Another dispute on the Uii..;•: Company's steamor Koranui, trading with Tasmania, arose from the boatswain missing the ship in Sydney. When he presented himself for duty at Newcastle next day he was not accepted. The union therefore ordered eight deck hands to leave the ship when it returned to Sydney. They did so yesterday, and tho call to fill the vacancies was answered by 500 seamen.
