LIBERTY THEATRE.
TWO FEATURES. Two good pictures, "Double Cross Roads" and "The Soul of Franco" ■ offer varied entertainment at the Liberty Theatre this "week. The former is an engrossing story of unscrupulous super-criminals whose machinations bring together an ex-safebreaker endeavouring to "go straight" (Robert Ames), and a pretty woman thief (Lila Lee). Both are eventually redeemed through a mutual love. . "The Soul of Franco" is s realistic war story, acted by French stars. It depicts very forcibly the horrors of the 1914-18 tragedy.
