0 INVITATION PROM CHAMBER OF COMMERCE. , "■ Sir Otto .Niemeyer,-the financial expert who is visiting the Dominion at the invitation of the New Zealand Government, will arrive from Wellington this morning en route for the Hermitage, where he will spend the week-end. On "behalf of the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce, Mr A. 0. Wilkinson (president) communicated with Sir Otto, asking him to be the guest of the Council at luncheon. Sir Otto - has . replied by telegram as follows: —"Regret ..only passingthrough CKristcliureh en route .to Mouiit Cook - Theref6re unable to accept your kind invitation." ' \ Mr -Wilkinson has now invited Si" Otto Niemeyer to meet the Council iii, the Chamber of Commerce: building on' his return from the south by "the express on Monday' evening. Sir Otto will leave for Wellington later "by the ferry steamer.
