AMATEUR ATHLETICS.
A committee meeting of the New Brighton Amateur Alhletic Club was hold on Wednesday .evening. Present: Mr S. Qallacher (in the chair), Messrs 0. Cauldwell, W. Queree, 0. A. Cooper, 11. C. Williams, A. E. Cooke, A, Boyd, and T. Hulrae (secretary). Field appointments were made as follows:—Marshal. Mr A, E. Cooke; captain, Mr A. Boyd; referee, Mr S. Gallachcr; judges, Messrs C. A. Cooper and T. Hulme; timekeepers, Messrs C, A. Cooper and C. Cauldwell; stewards, Messrs Crypnll, Wilkin*, and Cauldwell: handicappers, Messrs A. E. Cooke and A. Boyd.
