The Lincoln Daffodil Show will bo held next Saturday afternoon. On Tuesday, September 80th, the Kangiora flower show, bazaar, and luncheon viQ be held A meeting of ratepayers of the Heathcote Countv will be held to-night in Mr Campbell's garage, Sumner rqad, to discuss way« and means of building a publio hall for the district. "Pound Day," in aid of tha St. Anne's Home for Girls, will be held at the Home, Papanui road, next Wednesday. The Linwoodi Rugby Football Club's annual emoke concert is being h»ld to-aijrht. A jumble sal# will be held in the . Hibernian Hall to-day . The annual meeting of the New Brighton Tennis Club will be held next Wednesday ©foiling.
