NEW COUNCIL.
C.A.A. NOMINATIONS. The following nominations have been received for seatß on the Council of the Canterbury Automobilo Association: —Messrs F. W. Johnston, Allan B. Hobbs, B. Falck, T. M. Millikcn, J. Sead-Gowing, G. W. Tench, K. Twyneham, R. B. Walker, T. Yuille Wardrop, and G. S. Morris. The retiring president, Mr F. W. Freeman, will occupy a seat on the Council ex-officio, and Mr B. Falck, last year's president, will go to the poll. Messrs J. Mason, L. M. Wilson, H. E. Kennett, J. L. Danks, and H. M. Garrick aro entitled to remain on the Council for another term, and with the exception of Mr Garrick, who has resigned, will do so. Another member of the executive who will not seek re-election is Dr. W. S. Simpson. Of the seven candidates Beeking seats on the Council only five may be elected.
