Erin's Lynn, now trained by G. 8. Smith, at Addington, went a fair race in the Seaview Handicap at New Brighton on Saturday, and she may not be long off the, winning list. Tenedos, who has now won four races on end, is a seven-year-old gelding by Kelson Blngen—The Pigeon, but he has done tery little racing. JToffs, and raced in Otago and Southland, but an accident terminated her rating eareer. She was by King Harold (by Viking) from Little Jane. The world's champion trotter, Peter Manning, has a record of 1.56J against his- name, but be is by no means the ideal type of racehorse. • When asked to do a trial against time recently in America he misbehaved for forty minute* before be could be induced to trot.
