. « SUPREME COURT. (Before Mr Justice Adamt.) IN DIVORCE. Olga Rnema Birdling (Mr J. H. Uphsm) proceeded against Harley Albert Birdling (Mr A. T. Donnelly, vritli him Mr C. S. Thomas) (or judicial separation on the ground of cruelty. The case was heard in Chambers, and an order was made prohibiting the publication of the evidence. Hearing continued all day, jnd the case was adjourned sine die. MAGISTERIAL. SATURDAY. (Before Mr H. P. Lawry, S.M.) DRUNKENNESS. Mary McKogney, aged 58, was ordered to pay 2s 6d expenses for drunkenness, liaviag once been convicted for a similar offence within the past sis months CHILDREN'S COURT. (Before Mr H. A. Young, S.M., Mra T. E. Taylor, and Mr W. M. West, J.P.'e.) BY-LAWS A lad was fined 2s 6d for cycling at night without a light, the Magistrate commenting on the fact that he had been before the Court only a fortnight previously for cycling on the footpath. GAVE AWAY AMMUNITION. A fortnight ago two boys were before tlie Court for owiiing a rifle and firing at a tank. On Saturday a third lad was charged with supplying th 9 other two with ammunition, without waving authority to do so. He was admonished and discharged.
