AFTERNOON PARTY.
At Ballantyne's reception room. Miss Rhona Boswell and Miss Lorna Broadway were hostesses at a delightful afternoon party, given in honour of Miss Daphne Brass, who is shortly to be married. A competition was held, which was won by iiiss Ida Kensington. The guests were Miss Daphne Brass, Mrs David Crozier, Mrs Royce Nicholls, Mrs Clive Crozier, Mrs Neville Chamberlain, Misses A. Matson. Phyllis Brass, Joan Lee, Jean Lee, Gretchen Marsden. Joan Broadway, Kathleen Joyce, Joan Wilson. Dorothy Pengelly, Ruby Wallace, Peggy Pearson. Ida Kensington, Alma Bowes, Phyllis Cooper, and Gwen Hill.
