MINISTER FOR EDUCATION.
— VISIT TO CANTERBURY. The Minister for Education (the Hon. H. Atmore) will be present at the annual meeting of the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce on Monday evening. T ho Acting-Prime Minister (the Hon E. A. Ransom) was to have represented the Government, but his Parliamentary duties prevented his departure from Wellington Mr Atmore has advised the Canterbury Education Board that he will visit the Belfast School at 9.30 a.m. on Mondav; Kaiapoi School at 10.15 a.m., and West Eyreton School at 11.15 a.m.
