ANNUAL SPORTS. (MUSS ABSOCIATIOX TILEGB IK.) THE CHATEAU, September B. The eighteenth annual winter sports tournament of the Ruapehu Ski Club was held in excellent conditions, and a large crowd witnessed exciting races. The sports were continued to-day, including the amateur ski-ing championship.: Towards tho latter end of the first day there was a light snowfall. On Tuesday night a small party spent the night in the Ski Club's glacier hut, and made an early ascent of Ruapehu peak the fouowing morning.
