Miss Ramsay and Miss Macfarlane (Remuera) beat Miss Cowper and Miss Izard (Wanganui), 15-8, 15-8. Misses EUett and Solomon beat Mrs Rodden and Miss Fossette by default. COMBINED DOUBLES. First Round. Rishworth and Miss Ramsay (Auckland) beat Colegrove and Miss Dodds (Auckland), 15-9, 15-0.
