The steamer Changte, from HongKong, has arrived at Thursday Island, and reported that a second-class passenger was suffering from smallpox. The vessel will be quarantined on arrival at Brisbane! The liner Nieuw Zeeland -has arrived with a case of smallpox aboard. The patient and five Brisbane passengers were landed into quarantine, ■ and the mails are being fumigated. The ship then left for* Sydney, where the remaining passengers may be quarantined.
