FIVE YEARS' IMPRISONMENT
ASSAULT AND ROBBERY. (PttESS ASSOCIATION TXLEGBAM.) - "WELLINGTON, September 3. James Martin, Harry Boyer, and William Alexander Matthews, who pleaded guilty last week to robbing two men with violence at Miramar on the night of August 10th. were sentenced to-day to five years' hard labour. His Honour, Sir. Michael Myers, said that they seemed to bb quite reckless as to x what the final result might bo when they committed the offence, and were fortunate they were not charged with an even 1 more serious offence.
