SIR OTTO NIEMEYER.
SUGGESTED VISIT TO DOMINION. [THE PRESS Special Service.] WELLINGTON, August 30. Although no official information is available regarding the suggested visit of Sir Otto Niemoyer, financial advisor to the Bank of England, there is a strong impression in Parliamentary circles that the Government has anticipated the suggestion of the Associated Chambers of Commerce and has already invited the distinguished financier to visit the Dominion to enquiro into various aspects of financial problems. An official announcement in regard to Sir Otto's visit may bo expected shortly. The executive of the Associated Chambers of Commerce of New Zealand has approved of the suggestion of its president (Mr C. P. Agar) to ask the Government to invite Sir Otto Niemeyer, of the Bank of England, to visit New Zealand when he ha 3 completed his enquiries in Australia. A letter to that effect has been forwarded to the Acting-Prime Minister by the secretary of the Associated Chambers, Mr F. H. Bass.
