BURGLAR CAUGHT.
(PBES3 ASSOCIATION TELBOBAM-) GISBOBNE, August 30. Caught in the act of going through a country house on August 22nd, a Maori named Puka Stevens, aged thirty-seven, pleaded guilty in the Police Court this morning to a charge of breaking, entering, and theft. He was committed to the Supreme Court f°r sentence. On four charges of theft, the accused was sentenced to three months' hard labour, :
