Included in the matters to come before to-night's meeting of the City Council are the following:— Principal items of receipts and payments for the year ended March 31st, 1930. Acquisition of land for widening Stanmore road. Erection of dwelling on section with insufficient area, Peacock street. Erection of tramway poles for trolley Consideration of Cr. McCombs's notice of motion regarding reduction in electricity charges. 4ppointmfciit of local bodies representative on the Technical College Board of Governors. _ Appointment of City Council s representative on the Board of the Riccarton Bush trustees. Tenders for laying sub-soil drains in Smart's Pond. Renaming of Smart s Pond. Question of effecting repairs to bathing pool, Tepid Baths. Acquisition of land for rounding the corner of the boulevard. The raising of the Council s share of the cost for the npw_ bridge over the River Avon at New Brighton.
