FAREWELL SOCIAL.
On Wednesday evening a, iarewell social was tended Staff-nurse Donaghy, who is leaving the Upper Sanatorium. The sitting-room and balcony of th« Nurses' Home were artistically decorated with flowers and blue and gold streamers.
During the evening, which was spent in games and dancing, Sister Congreve, sister-in-charge, on behalf of the nursing staff, presented Nurse Donaghy with a Chinese brass fruit dish and a bouquet of violets. Nurse Donaghy suitably responded. At the conclusion a vote of thanks was passed to Nurse White for supplying musio for dancing. Those present were Sister Congreve, Nurses Nan Donaghy, Eva Foster, A. Macdonald. Mary d'Connell, Sara Farr,' Pearl Ramey, Vera Ryoska, Jessie Wood, Mercy Woodill, May Glen, Moffatt, Dorrie Price, Olive Newton, Evelyn Le Page, and Mollie White.
