SOCIAL AND PERSONAL.
Miss Mary Bolleston (le Cren's terrace), who was the guest of Mrs Eliot (Wellington), has returned home. , Mr and Mrs J. W. Fair (Douglas street), who have been on a visit to Ghristchurch, have returned home. ' Miss H. Pateraon (Sefton street) left yesterday to spend a few days in Dunedin.
Mrs W. Howell (Cave), who was staying with Misß Knubjey (Sarah street), returned home yesterday. Miss L. Cartwright (Orbell street), who was the guest of Mrs C. Kain (Orari), is now staying with Mrs E. P. Chapman (Salisbury). The following have been guests at t;he Dominion Hotel:—Messrs H. Eadeliff (Dunedin), R. G. Pilkington (Christchurch), E. J. Kenny (Christchurch), R. Mosley (Dunedin), and J. Poster (Christchurch). Passengers to the Hermitage yesterday were Mr and Mrs Railly (Christchurch).
