BRACKENFIELD HUNT.
MEET AT WEST ETRETON. Hounds • met at Mrs Dixon s, West Eyreton, for the last hunt. It . was a good day for scent, although there were rather many hares.. A paddock across the South Eyre road was first,drawn, but it was some= time bare was viewed. This one led the a smart pace across a paddock of young grass into- the scrub, and after circling in the scrub several 'times was eventually pulled down near the forestry boundary-fence." After a short spell another hare was found, / and ... after dodging about in the scrub for- some time, made for, open country. She made across the South Eyre road into the river-bed. Hounds soon had her out of here and she made back across the road and towards the scrub, when hounds were whipped off, as ii&ht was failing. The field jogged back to the homestead, where moist acceptable afternoon tea was provided by the hostess. Those following were: •The Master (Mr Denis Chapman) on Sheriff. Huntsman (Mr R., A.
