William Gamble was alleged to have cycled at night without a light, without a reflector, and without a bell. On the first charge he was fined 20s and costs. On the second a fine of us and costs was imposed, and the charge of having no bell was dismissed. Maurice Gee was also charged with cycling at night without a light and a reflector. Daniel Neill was fined Ss and costs for having no assigned number on his motorcar Henry .William Smith was fined 5s and costs, and Cecil John Paul Howard, on similar charges, 10a and costs. George Harris (Mr W. B. Laßcelles) was ordered to nay costs only, for the same offence, and for having no license was fined fis and costs John Mann and Arthur M. Helps were charstd with driving motor-cars at night without headlights, and were each fined fis a.nd costs. The samp fine was imposed on John Molloy Freeman, who liod beon driving with one headlight onlv. John Glencoe Macdonald (Mr H. C. D van Asch), and Frederick Brimelow were each fined £3 and costs for failing to give way to traffio on the right. A fine of 10s and costs was imposed on Jcmes Jack, for having an unlicensed motorcar. He was further fined 6s and costs for not possessing a driving license. Thomas Dixon (Mr C. V. Quigley) was fined £2 and costs for failing to Keep to the left, and Bobert Nathan Edwards (Mr F. W. Johnston), was fined £2 and costs for negligent driving. For a similar offence Thomas Muir wo 3 also fined £2 and costs. Henry Derago, charged with driving a horse-driven vehicle without a light at night, was fined 10s and costa. , ... He was fined 5s and costs on each charge. •- For. failing to give way, George Church was fined £3 and costs, Frederick Bonhavn was fined 208 and costs for cutting a corner, and Archibald Alexander John (Mr C. F. Woodhead) was fined 10s and costs for having wrong number-plates. Norman Eric Neill, charged_with dangerous driving, was fined £2 and costs. A charge of cutting <* corner brought against William James Gavin Turnbull (Mr F. W. M. Cowlishaw) was dismissed.
