The only lliccarton representative at tho Oamarn Meeting to-day will b« Rascal, who is likely to bo a staunch favourite for his engagement. Fresh Breeeo has been recomniiaatoned by F. P. Claridge after a spell since November last. Amorist is one of tho likeliest of the niccarton contingent for Wellington to earn distinction. Ho has been galloping very well on tho tracks and there is no question about his jumping ability. At the last Wellington Winter Meeting lie won tho Vittoria Hurdles in a runaway manner ami did likewise at Dunedin last month. He is engaged in the Trentham Hurdles on Tuesday and with his usual pilot, G. Salt, in the saddle, his prospects must be seriously considered. Horses that won at tho last Winter Meeting at Trentham are again well represented next week. The following is a list of those who will be trying to repeat their successes of last year: —Amorist, Waitaunaha, Black Duke, Paddon.
