N.Z. APPLES IN LONDON.
TO THE EDITOB O* THE PRESS Sir,—A friend at present in London has just written us to say that two New Zealanders, well acquainted with the produce of the Canterbury orchards, inspected the Jonathans, Delicious. Dunns, Cox Orange, etc., displayed in the windows of New Zealand House, and were astonished at _tue miserable quality of the exhibits. They wondered where they came from or how they escaped the grader in the Dominion. They lacked size, coloui, or any good quality to recommend them, and give -no idea of what this , eountrv can produce. Who is re- ! sponsible for this?— Yours, etc., JOHN DICKSON. Sumner, July 4th. 1930.
