DANGEROUS CYCLISTS.
RIDING FOUR ABREAST. CAUSE OF MANY ACCIDENTS. Every day in Christchurcli one may see cyclists riding along the streets three and four abreast, constituting a grave danger to themselves and to other users of the road. This prao* tice is particularly popular on the concrete stretches, and it has been the cause of many accidents. One of the regulations ,pf the Toronto Police Department receded recently states clearly that all riders ot bicycles (or tricycles) shall, at all times, keep their feet on the pedals and their hands on the handle-bars, and that no cyclists or motor-cyclists shall ride more than two abreast. No cyclist or motor-cyclist shall hold on to another or to any other moving vehicle. A regulation of that nature, it was pointed out to "Roadster" yesterday, would be of great benefit to users ot the roads in Christchurch.
