An average yarding of sheep and cattle was submitted at Jonnsonville to-day. The cattle oomprised mostly good quality bullocks, with a few pens of prime-quality oowa. Prices were easier to the extent of 10» per head as compared with last rates. The sheep offered were of good quality, and a fair sale resulted. Prices for wethers were on a par with last week's rates, but ewes were slightly easier. Lambs met with a ready sale. Extra heavy bullocks made up to £l6, heavy £l4 12s 6d to £ls 10a, good £l2 10s to £l4, light to £ll 12s 6d, heavy cows £8 to £lO 10s, heavy wethere 26s lOd to 28s, good 25s to 26s 6d, light 21s 6d to 21s, ewes 16s to 18s 6d, lambs 21s to 23s 9d. The Bureau of Economics of the United States Department of Agriculture reports that the "world's visible supply of sugar is greater than any previous year."
