AMUSEMENTS.

THEATRE ROYAL, A GOOD DOUBLE BILL. An excellent entertainment wai afforded at the Theatre Royal last night by tho first presentation ot two very good films, "The Ship from Shanghai" and "The Awful Truth." The two pictures are on totally different lines, drama in the first being relieved by comedy in tho second. The comedy, "The Awful Truth," is given pride of place, and merits its position. Ina Claire and Henry Daniel play the part of a quarrelling couple to perfection. They quarrel when the picture begins and they quarrel when it ends. In the meantime they have taken divorce proceedings, have been living apart, and despite themselves have/ drifted together again. They would not bo happy if they lived in too great harmony. "The Ship from Shanghai" is different. A tale of the sea, of mutiny, and of men and women on a derelict vesppl, it holds plenty of interest. The film is adapted from Dale Collin's novel, "Ordeal." Conrad Nagel, Kay Johnson, and Louis Wolheim are tho leaders of the cast.
