WEATHEK REPORTS STOPPED. WELLINGTON, July 2. .11 Has been the custom for tho Meteorological Department to Bend out by the Morse code a weather report at 9 p.m., but for reasons of economy the practice is being discontinued. Tho rain* of the Morse message is emphasised as against the very small baring Its discontinuance can possibly effect, and one master mariner places in contrast the value to the Meteorological Department of the weather messages sent' free by ships themselves.
