Wellington—Following & very cold night, the weather yesterday was bright and Bunny. A steady breeze oame from tl:o north The night was fine and a good deal warmer than the. previous evening. Dunedin—Following a clear, cold night, light rain fell in Dunedin early yesterday morning. Conditions lator were unsettled, the sky being heavily clouded. The wind waß light and variable. The maximum temperature waß 48 degree 3. The barometer •is steady, the reading last evening being 30.15. Forecast. General Situation—Yc3t6rday ? * cyclone hag filled up, End an anti-cyclone now covers the whole of tho Dominion and the Taemau Sea. A slight low pressure vavo is crossing tho Southern Tasman. Winds—Variable nortn of New Plymouth and Napier; elsewhere moderate northwcstorlics, freshening somewhat.
