THE TEST MATCH.
TEAMS ASSEMBLE. ALL BLACKS TRAINING. The members of the New Zealand Rugby team spent yesterday morning training on Lancaster Park for their match on Saturday. The North Island members of tho team arrived by the ferry after a fine trip from Wellington. The players spent about an hour in scrumming and line-out practices and several passing practices, both with forwards and backs. The work was supervised by C. G. Porter, who kept the players moving. Nepia spent the time practising goal-kicking and touch-find-ing. In the afternoon several of the players went to see the College-Boys' High School match, and in the evening many went to a theatre.
Another run-out will be held to-day, and possibly another on Friday. If the men consider that they are fit to-day, Friday will be spent quietly. The members of the English team arrived at five o'clock fiom Timaru. They spent the evening ;>t, the Liberty Theatre, and to-night will bo the guests of the management of Everybody's. Today they also will spend some time in training at Lancaster Park.
