A FURTHER OUTBREAK
POLICE USE REVOLVERS.
(UNITED PEE6B ASSOCIATION—BY ELECTEIO TELEGRAPH—COP YKIG HT.) (Received May 30th, 11.20 p.m.) DELHI, May 30. British police officials and civilians ai Dacca, East Bengal, and Howrah, near Calcutta, wero attacked by riotous mobs yesterday. The superintendent of police at Dacca was thrown down and beaten and hia revolver taken. He was then thrown into a ditch. Europeans who attempted to rescue him were severely beaten. Railway waggons at Howiah were aet on fire and the station bombarded with stones. The police fired revolvers and dispersed the angry mob. Several railway officials and somo of the police were severely injured with stones.
FURTHER ASSAULTS YESTERDAY.
EFFORTS TO RESTORE PEACE.

RANGOON, May 30.
The death roll of the rioters is now 168 and in addition 670 Indians have been injured. There were three fatal assaults on Burmans yesterday.
The Indian leaders and Buddhist priests aro endeavouring to restore peace.
