A Detroit advice states that an announcement has been made in London that British automobile manufacturers are planning to invade 1 tho Canadian market. It is indicated in automobile circles in Detroit that they are aiming, not only at the Canadian market but possibly at tho Australian market. British plants, which will bo established in Canada, will bo granted preferential rates and tho Australian market will be taken from tho United States.
