LIBERTY THEATRE.

Biblical stories reproduced on the screen with their modern application bavo resulted in criticism from certain quarters 'where- such' action is termed a travesty of good taste. Certainly "Noah's Ark," at tho Liberty Theatre this week, should not merit any such criticism, as tho Bcreen invests tho age-old story with all its tearfulness and holiness, while it draws a moral and applies it to tho conditions leading up to 1914—"the worship of Mammon brings nothing but ill ultimately to the worshipper." Tho acting in all the leading roles in very good, and Dolores Costello and Georgo O'Brien, as the featured players, are tremondous successes. Noah Beery and Louisa Fazcnda aro included in the array of wellknown actors in support of them.
